Rams men go undefeated in CVC; Jimenez leads women’s standout season
Fresno City College's men's team delivered a dominant performance this season, finishing first in the Central Valley Conference with a 6-0 record.
The Rams were powered by standout Matthew McBride, whose exceptional play earned him Central Valley Conference Player of the Year honors.
Head coach Nate Castro guided the team's success and earned recognition as the Central Valley Conference Coach of the Year for his leadership during the undefeated conference run.
The Rams' season ended on April 7 following a 6-3 loss to No. 3 seed American River in the CCCAA NorCal dual team championships. Fresno City entered the postseason as the No. 6 seed.
On the women's side, Aubrey Jimenez had an outstanding season, earning Central Valley Conference Player of the Year recognition.
Holding a 10-3 record, she played a key role in leading the fifth-seeded Rams to an impressive 7-2 victory over Modesto Junior College in the CCCAA NorCal dual team championships.
Fresno City will face top-seeded Sierra on April 14 as the Rams continue postseason play.
