The Fresno City College softball season ended after losing the best of 3 series against No. 8 seed Feather River.
The ninth-seeded Rams lost to the Golden Eagles 4-2 and 8-4 in the CCCAA Northern California regionals in Quincy.
In the lone highlight for Fresno City, Makena Makekau hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning, cutting Feather River's lead to 7-4 in the elimination game for the Rams.
Sara Barbosa started in the circle for the Rams in Game 1, followed by Emily Hinchey.
The Rams end the season with a 26-12 record.
