Three Fresno City College women's basketball players scored in double figures to help the Rams earn a 78-66 victory over Taft in their Central Valley Conference opener.
Sarah Shein led the Rams with 14 points, while Deja Lee added 12 and Rylan Davis finished with 11.
Fresno City (10-6 overall, 1-0 CVC) pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring the Cougars 25-13.
The Rams will hit the road this week to face Merced and College of the Sequoias. They return home Jan. 21 to play Lemoore, followed by a matchup against Reedley on Jan. 24.
